I found out abouy this app. as a recomendation from my psycologist. It has really helped me calm down the anxiety and helps me become more alert and in a better mood.

This app would be perfect if there was an option to hear a wind chime or bell everytime you are supposed to switch from inhale to exhale. I want to be able to close my eyes while I use it but cant because I have to watch the dot.
Exactly what I was looking for, simple interface with only what functions are needed. I agree that a gentle sound at the wave peaks would be better but there is enough distinction in the wave sound to get by. Should only cost a buck for the level of programming, even though the practice is invaluable.
This app is great and does just what it claims. I used it with my emWave2 (heartmath device) and was able to reach and maintain coherence in a higher level than normal! Only request would be that you could listen to your own binaural beats or music in background. Thanks!
An excellent breath timer. It recommends a cardiac coherence timer but it should be built-in. There are plenty of HRV apps. Ideally, there should be a third version that adds Bluetooth LE support and that uses HRV data to automatically adjust the breath timing to achieve maximum coherence. As it is now, the user has to guess about what works-- which is much slower and frustrating than having an app that learns and figures out the ideal breath pattern for you.
While this app may be helpful for someone who is learning to breathe in a more efficient pattern (deeper, more smoothly, choice of in and out duration), it doesnt have the flexibility to select a breathing pattern longer than 7 breaths per minute.
